Memorial fund established in Lt Col "Uncle Billy" Enoka's name
On Saturday, February 22, 2020, Lt Col William Enoka perished following a plane crash at Dillingham Airfield on Oahu. He was key to many aspects of our aerospace education mission, and he was the heart and soul of Hawaii Wing's glider flight program. “Uncle Billy,” as he was affectionately called by thousands of cadets and senior members during the 37 years of his CAP service, inspired, motivated, and took to new heights — both literally and figuratively — our involvement in Civil Air Patrol.
A memorial fund for cadet flight training is being established in Uncle Billy's name to continue his good work. Donations to this fund are a welcome tribute to the celebration of his lifelong contributions to the community.
Donations may be sent to:
Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol, ATTN: Uncle Billy Memorial Fund, 419 Lele St., Honolulu, HI 96819.
Please make donations payable to HIWG CAP, with "Uncle Billy Memorial Fund" on the memo line.
