Hawaii Wing ES Training

Hawaii Wing and our Emergency Service department will be conducting a training exercise that will allow for qualifications and experience to strengthen our capabilities in preparation for disaster relief and readiness. 

To prepare for your ES training, you will need to:

  1. Obtain your Commanders approval in e-services prior to attending training
  2. Please take all necessary online training courses as your prerequisites to attending the course find more here
    1. CAPR 60-3(I)
    2. CAPR 173-3
  3. Take online axis ES learning modules
  4. Take necessary FEMA courses if acceptable to your ES duty position track
  5. Consult with Maj Martin Guiles or ask your SQD ES officers or SQD Commander for additional support

Location: Hawaii Wing HQ or Microsoft Teams

Schedule: (schedule may change to meet the learning environment

9 am to 11 am

- General Emergency Service, Mission Scanner training, ICUT, and any other information for members furthering their ES qualifications. This session is available to both Senior Members and Cadets.

If you are interested in the Mission Scanner training, please complete the necessary prerequisites and watch all of the online lessons prior to attending this training. You will be assessed on your knowledge in a short-in-class session. 

11 am to 12 pm 

Lunch (Please bring lunch money if attending in person)

12 pm to 2 pm (Senior Members Only limited to 20 in-person members)

- Table exercise appropriate for AOBD, PSC, LO, GBD, MP, MO, MS,  MRO, & AP for both qualified members and training. We will allow participation through teams meetings online. 

(Senior Members ES Traning Only) Saturday; June 17, 2023, and Sunday; June 18, 2023, Wing will conduct air operations mission training exercises at a scale appropriate to how many trainees need to qualify.  Members participating in emergency services training, obtain your squadron commander's approval and prerequisites to attend training in person or online. This will be open to only qualified senior members authorized to participate in a live air operations mission.  

Uniform of the Day:

Cadets: ABUs or appropriate PT attire if you do not have your ABUs

Senior Members: Corporate Polo and Grey Slacks with Black Shoes, ABUs, or Flight suit.
